Itinerary

A note from your hosts:

Each day, you'll participate in interactive sessions, facilitated by Dr. Jerry and Tammie Duggar. These sessions will include a variety of practices and tools for improving your foundation of health and wellness that aligns with your personal intentions. The experiential sessions will be both indoors and outdoors and will involve both stillness and movement. They are designed to be engaging and transformative.
Educational training will focus on tools that are both straightforward and sustainable. These tools can be implemented immediately upon learning. The time-tested principles of health you will learn cover a variety of topics, including: diet, breath, sleep, movement, play, loving relationships, and healthy mental frameworks. These topics have been a springboard for transforming the health and wellness of thousands of people.
Gathering in this amazing setting as a small group will open each participant up to opportunities to take their own wellness journey to a new level.

Day 1

Depart USA for San Jose Airport in Costa Rica.

Guests should arrive in the morning of day 2.

Day 2

Arrive in San Jose airport and begin your adventure in Costa Rica! As we travel to Sarapiqui we will stop by the La Paz Waterfall Gardens and enjoy the wonderful nature.

Overnight at Epic Adventure Lodge where we will enjoy dinner as a group.

Day 3

We start the morning with breakfast at the Epic Adventure Lodge. Our first stop of the morning will be at the Mistico hanging bridges in Arenal, after which we will explore the base of the Arenal Volcano. After lunch we will enjoy the natural hot springs at Ecotermales.

Day 4

After breakfast at the Epic Adventure Lodge we make our way out towards Tortuguero. We will explore the village there, enjoy lunch, take a boat ride, and enjoy a pleasant walk on the beach.

Day 5

Our morning will begin with breakfast at La Laguna Lodge. Morning kayaking at Tortuguero National Park will follow breakfast and another boat ride before lunch. We will enjoy the natural gardens at Villa Sanabria in the afternoon before heading back to our hotel.

Day 6

After enjoying breakfast at Villa Florencia we will head off to our rafting adventure! Our day will include 10 miles of white water rafting the Pacuare river, spotting toucans, sloths, listening to howler monkeys, and enjoying the wonderful plant life that Costa Rica has to offer. We will stop at the Pacuare River Ecolodge where we will enjoy a lovely night walking tour, dinner, and our overnight stay.

Day 7

In the morning we will have breakfast at the Pacuare River Ecolodge before resuming our white water rafting journey down the Pacuare River. After the final 8 miles of the raft we will eat lunch and then begin our travels back to San Jose. Along the way we will stop and have our Farewell Dinner in Mirador del Valle.

Overnight at Rosa de America.

Day 8

Today we will eat breakfast at Rosa de America before our transfers to the airport so we can begin our journey home.

Payment terms: $300 pp deposit required at booking. Final payment due 90 days before departure.
