“I just spent the last 16 days with the most amazing people in a most amazing place. We traveled through the Holy Land on a pilgrimage of learning and experiences regarding Jesus Christ. We swam in the Sea of Galilee and visited places where Christ performed most of his miracles. We hiked Hezekiah’s Tunnel, floated in the salty Dead Sea, experienced the celebrations of Shivah and Bar Mitzvahs at the West/Wailing Wall at Temple Mount, and walked the wall around old Jerusalem.
I walked the streets of Bethlehem and sat on the hill looking over the Shepherd’s fields, then stood in that place that “tradition” says Jesus Christ spent his last days, including the Garden of Gethsemane, the house where the last supper took place, the garden tomb, and Calvary. Our group hiked many places including Masada, Petra, Mount of the Beatitudes and Mount Tabor, then visited Wadi Rum where we stayed in Bedouin tents and rode camels. I cannot even begin to express my feelings regarding these places.
Every little detail and all arrangements were made for us, and the itinerary maximized our time at the sites. Thanks Legacy Tours and Travels for the most memorable experiences.” -Ann Beal
